Consistent, helpful service

I've been using ShareWell for a few months now, mostly for their Depression Support Groups. This time, I also tried a Self-Esteem Workshop. It was as reliable as my previous experiences. The groups are always well-facilitated, and the connection is stable. I keep coming back because it's a dependable place to connect. The quality of the discussions and the support I get has been consistently high.

Really helped with stress

I tried out the Career Stress Groups a couple weeks ago. It was pretty cool. Joining was super easy, just clicked a link. Everyone was nice and it felt good to talk about stuff with people who get it. Didn't feel like I was being judged or anything. The whole thing just felt really comfortable and low-key. I'd definitely do it again.

So supportive!

Oh my goodness, ShareWell is incredible! I joined a Trauma Recovery Group last week and it was such a powerful experience. The facilitator was amazing and made everyone feel so comfortable. I connected with others who really understood. I felt so much better after! I'm definitely going to join more sessions!

Good groups, easy to use

I signed up for an Unlimited Peer Support Groups membership last month. The ordering process was simple on their website. I got an email confirmation right away. I've joined a few Anxiety Support Groups and a Relationship Support Group. The video quality was consistently good, and the facilitators were experienced. I found the platform easy to navigate to find and join sessions. It felt like a really safe space, and the confidentiality was clear. Overall, a positive experience for what it offers.

Good value annual plan

I opted for the annual Unlimited Peer Support Groups plan after a free trial. The annual plan offered a significant saving compared to paying monthly. It felt like good value for the number of sessions available. I've joined several Specialized Support Groups, and it was worth the upfront cost for the access. No regrets on the financial side.

Wondering if ShareWell is just another BetterHelp or Talkspace? Or is it actually different?

S Sophie S. 1 month ago
It's pretty different actually. This is more about peer support groups and workshops with facilitators, not one-on-one therapy with a licensed therapist. It's less clinical, more community vibe.

Totally different. I tried Talkspace and it was good, but ShareWell is for when you want to connect with other people going through similar stuff. It's not a replacement for therapy, more like an add-on.

So, is it truly free to join and try out some of the basic groups? Or is there a catch where you immediately have to pay for anything useful?

K Kate 1 month ago
You can definitely join for free and access basic groups. I've been in a few free ones. The 'Unlimited' stuff and some specialized workshops are what you pay for.

Yeah, it's freemium. You can get a feel for it without paying anything, which is nice. I used the free access for a while before deciding to upgrade.

Are there ever any good deals for the 'Unlimited' subscription? Or is it pretty much full price all the time?

S Steve Kaur 1 month ago
They usually have a free trial to start, like 7 days, which is cool. And sometimes around holidays like November/December I've seen deals pop up for annual plans.

Yeah, I got my annual pass at a discount a few months back. I think signing up for their email list probably gets you those alerts. They also have student discounts I think?

Can you actually cancel the 'Unlimited' subscription easily? Or do they make you jump through hoops?

N Neil A. 2 months ago
Super easy. I canceled after a couple months once because my schedule got crazy, just a few clicks in the account settings. No drama.

T Tara L. 2 months ago
Yeah, I think it's pretty straightforward. I haven't done it myself but their FAQs say you can cancel anytime, so no long-term contracts or anything like that.

Hey, I'm thinking about joining ShareWell for some support with my anxiety. Is it actually confidential? Like, can people from my real life see what groups I'm in or what I say?

S Steve 2 months ago
Nah, it's pretty private. You don't have to use your real name, and all the sessions are closed. Plus, they say they're HIPAA compliant, which means they gotta protect your info.

J James Carter 2 months ago
Yeah, I've been in a few groups for grief and it felt super safe. Everyone's really respectful, and the facilitators always remind everyone about confidentiality. You can even stay anonymous if you want to.
